Important Information
Shopping hours
Weekdays 8am -5pm
Saturdays 8am – 12.30pm
Sundays 8am – 12.30pm for some supermarkets and wholesale merchants.
Milk, bread and other essentials can be obtained after normal hours.

Banking hours
Monday – Friday 8am – 3pm
Saturday 8am – 11.30am
All Commercial Banks are authorized dealers in foreign exchange.

General Post Office
Mondays – Fridays 8am – 5pm
Saturdays 8am – 11.30am.
The main post office is located on corner Main street and 8th Avenue

'Flea' Markets
You can haggle at all flea markets and informal curio markets for a lower price on your prospective purchase.
Several flea markets are sprouted around the city including those that sell curios.
Unity Village Phase 2 situated along Along Main Street and 6th Ave

Unity Village Phase 1 located at the corner of Main St and 6th Ave while the
Fort Street Flea Market is located at the corner of 11th Ave and Fort St.
Curios are sold at the entrance of the City Hall.

Transport
Bus Services (local)
For the Northern, Eastern and Southern suburbs: City Hall Terminus, Eight Avenue between Fife Street and Robert Mugabe Way. For the Eastern suburbs: TM Hyper Terminus, Fort Street and 10th Avenue.

For the Western locations you can get transport from Basch Street and 6th Avenue extension.
