The Bulawayo Basketball Association League commences this evening at the Bulawayo Courtrs for the Disabled (B.C.D) with the return of A.L.C.C and Classics who could not compete in last seasons programme,
A.L.C.C wiill play university boys NUST, who put up a good performance in the pre-season tounament when they beat Kings. A.L.C.C are banking on the capabilities of Thandanani Dube who has returned to the club after playing for Highlanders last season.
Classic on the other hand have lost star player Prosper Gurajena to Giants Extreme and have a tough encounter against Stars led by Bulawayo's under 18 mens coach Amos Tshuma. Kings will rely on the services of experienced Shingirai Magwaro. Meanwhile the BBA has not drawn the full calender for the first quarter of the season in order to accomodate new teams that have not yet registered.
