CBZ FA Cup reaches climax
by Xolani Mavolwane

The Commercial Bank of Zimbabwe (CBZ Holdings) FA Cup has reached the semi-final stage although there is a quarter final replay to take place. The weekend of 1-2 September will see Dynamos taking on new boys Lengthens at Gwanzura stadium in Harare.

Caps United, the other team in the semi-final will have to wait for their opponents a little while as the Highlanders/Monomutapa match has not been replayed.

What seems to bother most soccer loving people is that the Highlanders/Monomutapa match was played August 10. Ideally, a replay should have been played long back. It looks like the winner between Dynamos and Lengthens will wait a lifetime foe their opponents. What mal administration.

However, the mal administration will not take away the glamour in the CBZ FA Cup, the first of its kind in Zimbabwean history.

Pundits predict that its going to be a Highlanders/Dynamos affair. Only time will tell, we hope we wont spend another lifetime for the final!
